He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Louise Varton (Mullins) and Edward Samuel Varton; his siblings, Sally Randall and James Chance; and his former wife Sheryl Chance (Collins).
He is survived by: his children, Craig Chance (Jennifer) of Ypsilanti Township, MI, Shiela Chance Dorton (Douglas) and Garrett Chance (Alida); his former wife Louise Chance (Cierpial) of Belleville, MI; his grandchildren, Katelynn Rupnow, Nicole Chance, Nicholas Chance, Zachary Dorton and Jacob Gjekaj; and his great grandchild Raelynn Rose Cupp. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends and neighbors.
