He was predeceased by: his parents, Sabin Oral and Jennie Vandercook (Sayan); his son Rodney Vandercook; and his grandsons, Tommy Brennan and Jeremy Vandercook.
He is survived by: his wife Bertha Lois Vandercook (Pratt); his children, Jeffrey Vandercook (Sherri) of Belleville, MI and Tina Vick (Robert) of Ypsilanti, MI; his grandchildren, Tabatha Vandercook, Crystal Vick, Alexia Fisher, Carmen O'Keefe, Frankie Vick and Marissa Vandercook; and his great grandchildren, Sadie Skaggs, Elijah Karbowski, Rylee Fisher, Maggie O'Keefe, Henry Scott O'Keefe and Hudson Fisher.
