She was predeceased by: her parents, Gracie Lee Newsom (Addington) and Jonah Newsom; and her siblings, Delano Newsom, Mildred Hall, Faye Heflin and Seamawn Cisco.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald J. Roman; her children, Michele Lea Roman of Flat Rock, MI and Rodney James Roman of Inkster, MI; her grandchildren, Nicholas Grabiec (Amy), Breanna Phelps, Sierra Roman-Maslak (Mathieu), Tara Banda (Anthony) and Eric Howard (Meghan); her great grandchildren, Aniyah, Olivia, Jonah, Kinleigh, Mathias, Rhyett, Cade, Colt, Lacey and Alora; her siblings, Reeda Dalton of Belleville, MI, Eula Ward of Ohio, Algar Newsom of Ohio and Otto Newsom of Kentucky; and her siblings-in-law, Roger Roman (Debra), Gary Roman, Debby Johnson and Marisa Roman. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
