Gary L. Held Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary L. Held (Belleville, Michigan), who passed away on November 5, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd John and Bernadine Mae Held (Reynolds); his wife Cath'; his in-laws, Roy and Janet Stabnau; and his sister Laurie Bourque.
He is survived by: his daughter Katie Held (Joshua Lancaster) of Belleville; his grandchildren, Brooks, Rylie and Beau; his siblings, Richard Held (Laurie) of Whitmore Lake, MI, Debra Hendrix (Ralph) of Howell, MI, Ronald Held (Gina) of Belleville, MI and Tamara DeMara of Belleville, MI; and his pets, Fatty, Maysie, Mila and Tank. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the David C Brown Funeral Home (460 E Huron River Dr, Belleville, MI 48111). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of customary tributes, memorial contributions may be directed to Angela Hospice and the Friends of Michigan Animals Rescue.
