He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Shirley and Jessie Shirley (Nale); his wife Yolanda Shirley (Gable); and his siblings, Fred Jr., Robert, Wayne Shirley and Shirley Kyser.
He is survived by: his children, Alison Shirley and Reid; his daughter-in-law Erin Shirley; and his siblings-in-law, Mel Gable, Howard Kyser and Mary Shirley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
