It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James A. Jacobs of Belleville, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on August 2, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Clark Jacobs and Marcellene Jacobs (Madeline Goddard); and his uncle George (Irene Laware). He is survived by : his wife Crystal Jacobs of Belleville, MI; his daughters, Jimilyn Marie Koren (Kenneth) of Belleville, MI and Brandy Cristine Dunn (Joe) of Somerville, AL; his sister Sandra Lee Peer (Michael) of Gibraltar, MI; and his granddaughters, Jordyn Marie Thomas (Zachary) of Westland, MI and Ashlyn Paige Thomas (Chad) of Livonia, MI. He is also survived by many other friends, nieces, and nephews.
Donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital in his memory would be appreciated.
