He is survived by: his wife Laurie Piper; his children, Dana Piper (Sharon) of Southfield, MI, Jo Piper of Westland, MI, Thomas Leigh (Patty) of Romulus, MI, Jennifer Heffler (Steve) of Brighton, MI, Neil Merritt (Marisa) of San Diego, CA, Jill Wykes (Matt) of Belleville, MI and Jonathon Roark (Andrea) of New Boston, MI; and his sister Stephanie Czapiewski of Woodhaven, MI. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, as well as nieces, cousins, and a host of friends and neighbors.
