He was predeceased by: his parents, James Emmitt and Harriett Atlanta Smith (Dieter); and his brother Mark Smith. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Smith; his children, Sonya King of Monroe, MI and Jesse Micah Smith of Belleville, MI; his grandchildren, Hilliary, Justin, Zachary King, Christian, Scarlet and Grayson Smith; his great grandchild Carson Laginess; and his siblings, Ron Smith (Beth) of Belleville, MI, Cherie Gordon (Gary) of Florida and Lisa James (Joe) of Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
