He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Blevins and Amy Blevins (Skaggs); his brothers, Willie E. Blevins and Harold D. Blevins; and his son David Overbee.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Hunt Overbee; his daughters, Denise Tomkiewicz (Craig) and Debbie Cahill (Blevins); his brothers, Jimmie Blevins, James Paul Blevins (Pam), Lonnie Blevins and Jerry Blevins (Charlotte); his grandchildren, Jason Overbee (Dayana), Jill Shree Cahill, Eric Overbee, John Cahill (Melissa), Brandon Tomkiewicz and Katie Tomkiewicz; and his great grandchildren, Braylen Cahill, Darien Thomason, Juliana Overbee, Levi Overbee, Braxton Cahill, Shane Overbee and Clara Cahill. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
