He is survived by: his mother Carol LaPorte (Cebula) of Ypsilanti, MI; his stepmother Joanne LaPorte of Atlanta, MI; his wife Kimberly Cholette of Belleville, MI; his children, Brittany McKenzie (Spencer) of Ypsilanti, MI, Megan Alliston (Zachery), Kaylie LaPorte of Ypsilanti, MI, Kelli Mann (Joe) of Romulus, MI and Wally Cholette of Romulus, MI; his siblings, Paul LaPorte (Jody) of Harrison, MI, Laura Plonte, Tina Hays (Burl) of Monroe, MI, Linda Kukola (Kevin) of Harrison, MI, John Stewart (Lynette) of Cheboygan, MI and Gary Stewart of New Boston, MI; his mother-in-law Mary Ulman of Romulus, MI; his siblings-in-law, Jim VanMeer (Gayle) of Romulus, MI, Shannon Cholette (Greg) of Romulus, MI, Becki Graybeal (John) of New Boston, MI and Heather Maki (Mike) of Taylor, MI.; and his grandchildren, Ada, Logan, Quinn, Hadley, Joey, Jenah, Peyton and Trey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
