He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Christine Frances McGurrin (Patla). He is survived by: his sisters, Colleen Hume (Jim) of Ann Arbor, MI and Julie McGill (Derek) of Brighton, MI; his nieces and nephews, Ethan, Ryan, Katie Hume, Jared and Natalie McGill; and his pet Bella. He is also survived by numerous friends and coworkers.
