He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerard "Garrett" Memering and Alma Memering (Joyce); and his siblings, Jean Corte, Marcella Ivan, Mary Pinter, Herman, James and Hugh Memering.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Rose Crays; his children, Alma Johnson (Richard) of Belleville, MI, Margaret Keon (Thomas) of Belleville, MI, Paula Campau (Michael) of New Boston, MI, Gerard Memering (Jennifer) of Willis, MI and Theresa Beulle (Gregory) of Vicksburg, MI; and his siblings, Elmer Memering (Kathy) of Okeechobee, Yvonne Deeds of Brighton, MI, Edmund Memering (Dian) of Belleville, MI and Robert Memering (Gail) of Brooklyn, MI. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren.
