With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard Zimmerman of Belleville, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by : his parents, Kenneth Newhall and Viola Jane Zimmerman (Brown); and his siblings, Carol and Kenny Zimmerman. He is survived by : his wife Ann Elizabeth Zimmerman (Langh); his children, Ken Zimmerman (Jennifer) of Livonia, Bill Zimmerman (Suzanne) of Livonia, John Zimmerman of Garden City, MI and Amy Zimmerman of Belleville, MI; and his sister Viola Runngren of Belleville, MI. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Metro Baptist Church (47100 N Interstate 94 Service Dr, Belleville, MI 48111).
