It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger William Opsommer of Belleville, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on October 25, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Opsommer and Virginia Opsommer; and his sibling Amal Opsommer. He is survived by: his girlfriend Mildred Ferguson; his children, Roger Opsommer (Jackie) and Lori Sharps (Joe); his stepchildren, Dawn Blakita (Steve), John Ferguson and Kim Ferguson; his grandchildren, Grace, Roman, Ella, Luke Isaac, Samantha and Collin; his great grandchild Joshua Heffner; and his siblings, Denise Paulauskas (Greg), Linda Brudzinski (Ron), Amy Henderson (Ivan), Eva Grubb, Yvonne Anderson, Rene Opsommer and Julie Opsommer.
