He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Sampson and Dorothy Sampson (McKee); his wife Patricia Carole Sampson (Proimos); and his siblings, Patrica Lukerralli, Merle and Micky Sampson.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Schermerhorn of Pittsburgh, Colleen Sampson of Belleville, MI, Mike Sampson (Beth) of Belleville, MI, Dennis Sampson of Belleville, MI and Sean Sampson (Kelly) of Livonia, MI; and his grandchildren, Kyle, Connor, Carson Sampson, Tiffany Jones, Matthew, Brian, Keighan, Preston, Zoey, Amiyah, Trinity, Eric Sampson, Melissa Martin, Angie Wolfe, Laurie Schermerhorn, Lyndsey Mercer and Heide Dunn. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, also numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends.
Memorial contributions, in Ron's name, may be made to a Hospice of the donor's choice and would be appreciated.
