It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Hunt Blevins of Belleville, Michigan, who passed away on June 19, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Kermit Overbee; her son David Overbee; her husband John K. Blevins of Ypsilanti; and her siblings, Sylvia, Shirley, Dennis, Denver, Kenis Jr., Orville and Paul Hunt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Denise Tomkiewicz (Craig) of Milan, MI and Debbie Cahill (Blevins) of Ypsilanti; her daughter-in-law Linda Overbee of Ypsilanti; her grandchildren, Jason Overbee (Deanna), Eric Overbee, Jill Cahill, John Cahill (Melissa), Brandon Tomkiewicz and Katie Tomkiewicz; her great grandchildren, Juliana Overbee, Levi Overbee, Shane Overbee, Braylen Cahill, Darien Thomason, Braxton Cahill, Clara Cahill, Joey Russo, Kaitly Vollick, Owen Vollick and Sophia Vollick; and her siblings, Phyllis Hogston, Wendell Lee Hunt (Betty) and Dale Hunt (Doris). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stark Funeral Home (101 S Washington St, Ypsilanti, MI 48197). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
