She was predeceased by: her father James Sykes; her husband Leland Junior Johnson; and her siblings, James Sykes Jr., Mary Jane Morgan, Shirley Hendren, Margaret Jones and Gloria Glass.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Johnson (Amy) of Westland, MI, Judy Fleming (Larry) of Belleville, MI and Carol Cook of Belleville, MI. She is also survived by five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in her honor.
