She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Clay and Theresa Cora Gamsjager (Smith); her husband Phillip Carnahan, Sr.; her siblings, Ralph, Ray Gamsjager, Virginia Miller and Glenda Dalton; and her grandson Shane Carnahan.

She is survived by: her children, Phillip Carnahan, Jr. of Belleville, MI, Debbie Blackburn of Belleville, MI, Samuel Carnahan of Whittaker, MI, Ronald Carnahan (Dawn) of Belleville, MI and Dean Carnahan (Linda) of Taylor, MI; her grandchildren, Chrystal Carnahan, Christina Bichard, Tara Blackburn, Jeffrey Blackburn, Jr., Maya Taylor, Miranda Hatfield and Caleb Carnahan; her great grandchildren, Lando and Lilith; and her sister Eula Littlefield of North Carolina. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
