He is survived by: his significant other John Desselles; his parents, David Michalak and Judy Michalak; his brother Jeff Michalak; his sister-in-law Heather Michalak (Miles); and his nieces, Avery and Raegan Michalak.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Czopek Funeral Directors (2157 Oak St, Wyandotte, MI 48192). The lying in state was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Scapular Church (976 Pope John Paul II Ave, Wyandotte, MI 48192, USA). A Mass was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
