He is survived by : his former life partner Nancy Meinke; his wife Patti (Sayles); his sons, Jim West (Heather), Luke West Jr. (Rachel), John Ferree (Andie), Joseph West (Ashley), Dale West (Sarah Randall) and Jacob West (Casey); and his siblings, Roy West, Sammy Dorsey (Scott) and Deana Garrett (Ron). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
