He was predeceased by : his parents, George Sr. Whitcomb and Shirley Whitcomb (Springs); his son Brian Clyde Whitcomb; his siblings, George Jr. Whitcomb and Sue Whitcomb; his niece Janet Whitcomb; his siblings-in-law, Clyde, Letha Clift and Lisa Clift; and his great-nephew Ford Andrew Flower.
He is survived by : his wife Deborah Sue (Clift); his children, Garett Whitcomb (Char) and Amy Rigelman (Phil); his grandchildren, Michael Makley (Tawni), Torey Makley (Sarah), Chandler Adams (Lauren), Levi Rigelman and Andrew Rigelman; his siblings, Gary Whitcomb (Evelyn), Peggy Masters (John), Ron Whitcomb and Dan Whitcomb (Jayne); and his sister-in-law Brenda Harrison (Andy). He is also survived by his 5 great grandchildren.
