She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. DeVries and Leone DeVries; her husband David H. Carpenter; and her brother William R. DeVries. She is survived by: her children, Rosemary, Randy Long, Deb, Mark Holland, David and Tracy Carpenter; her grandchildren, Amanda, Josh Miller, Amber Vanderbilt, Mark Holland Jr., Melissa, Ross Schad, Jacob, Audrey Carpenter, Micah Carpenter and Noah Carpenter; her great grandchildren, Abigail, Jasmine, Josie, Luke, Logan, Jordan, Addyson and Grayson; and her siblings-in-law, Rolen, Betty Carpenter, Gordon and Sue Carpenter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (1601 Post Dr NE, Belmont, MI 49306).
