We announce the death of Betty Stinson of Belmont, Michigan, who passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 95. Betty will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Staci Tewksbury; and her siblings, Bonnie Reeder, Doris Scheib, Crystal Hurst and Robert Simmons.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Stinson (Debra), Dee Tewksbury (Gary) and Sally Stinson; her grandchildren, Nathan Stinson, Adam Stinson (Tiffany), Mandi Milliron (Keith), Jack Ryan III (Jess) and Maggie Ryan; and her great grandchildren, Skylar, Chloe, Rianna, Alex, Cole, Cade, Cory, Jack IV and Paisley.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:15 PM at the Plainfield Township Cemetery (6100 Packer Dr NE, Belmont, MI 49306). A reception was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the River Grove Community Room (5761 Jupiter Ave NE, Belmont, MI 49306).
