She was predeceased by: her son Timothy McCann; her parents-in-law, Dirk "Dick" and Mildred Nyland; her parents, Henry Atkinson and Ruth Atkinson; and her siblings, Patricia Baker and Ronald Atkinson.
She is survived by: her husband Dick Nyland Jr.; her son Dirk Nyland III (Yuko); her granddaughters, Tiffany Nyland, Lindsay and Katelyn; and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Rosencrans and Barbara Sutter. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
