It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sally Bernice Thelen in Belmont, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on January 24, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Brunner and Bernice Brunner; her former life partner Gary Ahlquist; her husband Cletus Thelen; her son Brian Ahlquist; her grandson Blake Ahlquist; her stepdaughter Ruth Thelen; and her brothers, Richard Brunner and Kurt Brunner.

She is survived by : her son Carl Ahlquist; her stepchildren, Jerry Thelen, Roy Thelen (Sally), Betty Jo Marsman, Phil Thelen (Kathy) and Patti Haines (Jim); and her siblings, Walt Brunner (Gloria) and Alma Verner. She is also survived by 19 step-grandchildren, 35 step-great grandchildren, and 1 step-great great grandson.
