Betty Mashke Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Mashke (Benton Harbor, Michigan), who passed away on February 10, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Henry Wetzel and Julia Wetzel (Cerecke); her children, Virginia Slattery (Richard) of Oshkosh, WI, William Mashke (LuAnn) and Joel Mashke (Marla) of Eau Claire, MI.; her grandchildren, Jill McGovern (Mark) of Neenah, WI, Jeremiah Slattery (Jill Bradley) of Apple Valley, MN, Jacob Slattery (Jennifer) of Oshkosh, WI, Phillip Mashke, Julianne Mast (Matthew), Bethany Steffl (Justin) of Sleepy Eye, MN and Daniel Mashke (Allyson) of Bridgman, MI.; her great grandchildren, Jack, Callie Slattery, Owen, Emmitt, Alex Slattery, Hazel Mast, Lauren Steffl, Payson and Koyer Mashke; her husband William L. Mashke; and her siblings, Clarence Wetzel, Donna Payne and Arlene Barchett of Watervliet.

Memorials may be made to the Central African Medical Mission of the WELS, the Michigan Lutheran High School music department, or Caring Circle Hospice.
