She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Sr. Buckner and Gladys Buckner; her brothers, Leroy Buckner Jr. and Timothy Buckner; her nephews, Marcus Purnell Jr. and Devin Williams; her close friend Jessie Sims; and her grandparents, Jessie and Rosie Lusk.
She is survived by: her son Remington Buckner; her sisters, Shari Lusk and Shermeka LaQuan Gordon; her nephew Bruce Benson; her nieces, Charnisa Lusk and Jalisa Boyd; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Damarion Purnell, Kaleb Purnell, Santana Moody, Char'Naja Moody, Serenity Purnell and Morgan Purnell; her goddaughter Ander McCoy (Patrice Harris); and her brother Lamont McCoy.
