With sadness, we share the passing of Deacon Jessie Adams of Benton Harbor, Michigan. Deacon, born on December 23, 1931 in Indianola, Mississippi, passed away on September 15, 2026. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Quincy Adams and Teenie Jackson; and his siblings, Preston Adams, Cedell Adams and John Wesley Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Mae Adams; his children, Jesse Bernard Adams of Benton Harbor, Phyllis Adams of Benton Harbor, Pattie Murray of Benton Harbor, Ronnie Singleton (Jennifer) of South Bend, Connie Walls (Lamar) of Benton Harbor, Paul Adams (Naomi) of South Bend and Drusilla Adams of Benton Harbor; and his sister Bessie Mae Rush of Dacula, Georgia. He is also survived by grandchildren, great- grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, god-children, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greater Faith Apostolic Church (1995 E Britain Ave, Benton Harbor, MI 49022). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at the Crystal Springs Cemetery (1655 E Napier Ave, Benton Harbor, MI 49022).
