It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Lee (Turner) Bell-Kelley of Benton Harbor, Michigan, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Turner and Dicie Turner (Rowden); her former life partner Johnnie Bell; her husband Peter Kelley; her son-in-law Isaac Williams; her grandchildren, Richard Perry, Demarius Hampton and Tequilla Penn; her sisters, Rosie Meridy and Johnnie Turner; her brother-in-law John McCoy; and her godson Rev. Rodney Lott.

She is survived by : her children, Rose Bell-Williams, Larry Bell (Rashonda), Emma Bell-Penn, Angelique Bell, Alexis Bell and Darcell Bell-Hampton (Donald); her sister Anna McCoy; and her close friend Queen Harris. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church (214 E Britain Ave, Benton Harbor, MI 49022). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
