Joe Frye Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Frye of Benton Harbor, Michigan, who passed away on May 24, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Waldo Frye and Ruth Frye (Burton); his wife Shirley Frye; his brothers, Raleigh Frye and Paul Frye; his siblings-in-law, Gene Dalton and Sandy Frye; and his son-in-law Denny Ruff.

He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Price (Ron), Kim Burgess (Roger), Rhonda Ruff and Alana Schuman; and his siblings, Wayneth Frye (Marie), Edsel Frye, Gary Frye (Sherri), Bruce Frye (Diana), Janice Rogers (David) and Judy Dalton. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and several great – grandchildren.
