Katherine leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Katherine’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Katherine will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Hungerford and Daisy Hungerford (Kidman); and her husband Arthur J. Stanley. She is survived by: her children, Arthur L. Stanley, Katherine Britenfeld and William Stanley; and her brother Ronald Hungerford. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Starks & Menchinger Chapel (2650 Niles Rd, St Joseph, MI 49085). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Hanson Hospice Center.
