We announce the death of Lorraine Ruth Eckert of Benton Harbor, Michigan, who passed away on June 11, 2026, at the age of 89. Lorraine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Kissau and Alvina Kissau; her husband Glenn Eckert; and her brother William Kissau. She is survived by: her children, Steven Eckert (Lenora Hardee) of North Haven, CT, John Eckert of Benton Harbor and Lisa Dove (Paul) of St. Joseph; her grandchildren, Kayla Cable (Leroy), Chandler Butcher (Christian) and Keean Eckert; and her great grandchild Reagan Butcher.

Memorial donations in Lorraine's name may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Trinity Lutheran School or Corewell Health Hospice.
