He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Scarbrough and Malvina Scarbrough (Priest); and his siblings, Jim, Doug, Chuck, Gene of John, L. D., Tom, Denny, Bill and Gwen Porter.
He is survived by: his sister Joyce MacGirr; his wife Karen Scarbrough; his children, Susan Stark (Jim) of Lexington, KY, Glen Scarbrough (Robin) of Traverse City, Michigan. and Edward Scarbrough (Sandy) of Traverse City, Michigan.; his grandchildren, Nichole Stark of Lexington, Kentucky, Joshua Scarbrough of Hastings, Michigan, Roberta Bourque (Joshua) of Newberry, Michigan, Rachel Gauthier (Justin) of Traverse City, Michigan, Trevor Scarbrough (Sarah) of Pontiac, Michigan, Adam Scarbrough (Erin) of Traverse City, Amanda Stark of Clermont and Sarah Ross (Kevin) of Munich, Germany.; and his great grandchildren, Dylan Scarbrough, Agatha Bourque, Lilah Gauthier, James Gauthier, Maple Bourque and Luella Scarbrough.
