He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Tharp and Virginia Tharp; and his siblings, Bill Tharp (Betty), Roen Tharp and Lynette.
He is survived by: his wife Meri; his children, Tamara Brzezinski (Art) and Tony Tharp (Brenda); his grandsons, Hunter Tharp (Krista), Landon Brzezinski (Savannah), Austin Tharp, Nick Brzezinski and Cam Tharp (Kristen); his great grandchildren, Nora Brzezinski and Lincoln Tharp; his sisters, Ronda Hill (Stan) and Valma Davis (Dean); his nieces, Sonia and Amy; and his nephew Troy.
