She is survived by: her daughters, Annette Garza (Dago) and Belinda Keyes; her siblings, Petra Gonzalez, Goya Rendon (Tomas), Gloria Perez (Sergio), Susana Sanchez, Johnny Sanchez (Barbara), Frank Sanchez (Maria), Gerardo Sanchez (Mary), Agustin Sanchez and Alberto Sanchez; her grandchildren, Andrew Garza (Megan), Jessica Garza, Albert Lopez, Corbin Lopez, Dominic Lopez of Monnicca Keyes, T. J, Keyes Jr., Jordan Keyes and Shawontel McCans (Ty); and her great grandchildren, Logan Garza, Carter Kerby, Ty Jr., Naveah, Phoebe, Gabe Jr., Bryleigh, Julia and Travis Jr..
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in Simona's honor to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), two causes close to her heart.
