He was predeceased by: his brother Richard "Dick" Palk; his nephews, Randall and Ronald Palk; and his parents, Richard Henry James Palk of Plymouth and Annie Mary Munro of Ross.
He is survived by: his wife Karin Palk; his children, Kerrie Laba (Matthew) and Kendrah Nason (Matthew); his grandchildren, Ethan, Adam, Jordan Laba, Ellie and Aaron Nason; and his nephew Richard Palk.
