With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Joseph Lobbestael of Berkley, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 23, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Lobbestael and Lillian Lobbestael; and his wife Jane. He is survived by: his children, David (Denise), Cheryl Jablonsky (Scott), Lisa Anderson, Janice Homola (Kevin), Michelle Macfarlane (Glen), Jeffrey (Pamela), Rodney (Kaisa), Karen Marttinen (Roy), Lori Hendrickson (Rodney), Joy Scheuble (Samuel) and Andrea Kysar (Tim). He is also survived by 75 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren.
