Deloris Shunkwiler Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Deloris Shunkwiler of Berrien Springs, Michigan. Deloris, born on October 13, 1938 in Leachville, Arkansas, passed away on June 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Deloris for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gracie Bell Archer (Girard) and Asbery Archer; her former husband Bill Pierce; and her husband Stan Shunkwiler. She is survived by: her children, Frankie Pierce, Luella Westrick (Dale), Jonna Pierce and Billy Pierce (Michele); and her stepson Ted Shunkwiler. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Deloris' memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
