He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dewey Layman and Maude McCrary; and his brothers, Lloyd, Sheldon, Stanley, Clayton and Nelson.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Lynn Layman of Berrien Springs, Bradley Ronald Layman of Highlands Ranch and Lori Lalonie Agens (Layman) of Watervliet; his grandchildren, Nicholas Logan Layman, Keith Michael Layman of Highlands Ranch and Jenna Helene Agens of St. Joseph, Michigan.; and his wife Barbara Lynne Hoge. He is also survived by children, grandchildren and many extended family.
