He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Amos and Mary Louise Potter (Chavannes); and his grandson Rowan Matthew Bridges. He is survived by: his wife Betty Bridges-Potter; his children, Samantha Meyer (Adam) of Niles and Richard Bridges of Buchanan; his grandchildren, Katriana Meyer, Brenden Meyer and Aiden Bridges; and his siblings, Laura Weidner (Tom) of Benton Harbor, Tim Potter of Benton Harbor and Alice Mary Potter of Berkley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
