He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul J. Zelmer and Margaret Zelmer; his wife Edna Zelmer; and his sister Maggie Hickey. He is survived by: his children, James Zelmer (Cindy), John Zelmer, Jerrold Zelmer (Alice Vance) and Barbara Christy; and his friend Janet Sherburn. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
