He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Christl and Hedwig Christl; his wife Lillian Christl; and his brothers, Richard and Ernest Christl (Max).
He is survived by: his children, William Christl (Rita), Susan Pilot (Robert), Laureen Haughey (Christopher) and Beverly Wickman (John); his granddaughter Melissa Swartz (Doug); his great grandchildren, Luca, Aria, Kailey Swartz, Gemma and Judd Nabil; and his sister Veronica Courtney.
