It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwards Verhelst of Bessemer, Michigan, born in Ironwood, Michigan, who passed away on April 12, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his siblings, Clarence Jr., Robert, Joan Bigari and Carol Porter. He is survived by : his wife Lisa Sandene; his daughters, April Claudio (Ray), Shannan Muse (Chris) and Tess Verhelst; his grandchildren, Lyndsey Neel, Rayna Claudio, Raymond Claudio, Aubree Muse, Logan Muse, Tyler Mljenek, Angelina Mljenek, Jake Banning and Autumn Mlejnek; his great grandchildren, Alexis, Alaina and Adelyn Neel; and his siblings, Janice Hlavacek (Bill) and William (Sue). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
