She was predeceased by: her parents, Serle Wise and Gertrude Wise; her husband Michael Burla; and her brother Dale Wise. She is survived by: her sons, Michael (Melissa) of Ellisville, Missouri, Peter (Jennifer) of Ironwood and John (Judy) of Ballwin, Missouri; her grandchildren, Adam (Serena), Paul (Kaitlyn), Peter (Katie), Martha (Seth Rosen), Angela and Andrew (Sydney); her great grandchildren, Boyd, Boland, Maren, Vince, Isaac, Pippa and Penny; and her sister-in-law Corinne Wise. She is also survived by three nieces and one nephew.

Memorials are preferred to St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Bessemer.
