We bid farewell to Geraldine Burt of Bessemer, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 12, 2025 at the age of 99. Geraldine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elona Vogeler and Bernard Vogeler; her son Robert "Bobby"; her husband Robert "Bunny" Burt; and her siblings, Dorothy and Robert "Bob".
She is survived by: her son Jeffrey (Ann); her grandchildren, Matthew Burt and Stephanie Smith (Job); her great grandchildren, Moxie Burt, Thea and Rose Smith; and her nieces, Susan Riche (John), Sandy Fieten (Brian) and Sheri Yong (Ray). She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Memorial contributions can be made in Gerri's name to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, E8223 Sanders Rd., Bessemer, Michigan 49911 Jerald Rocco, owner and manager of Lakeside Memorial Chapel Inc., in Wakefield, is assisting the family with arrangements.
