It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Barbacovi of Bessemer, Michigan, born in Norway, Michigan, who passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Emanuel Pancheri and Josephine Pancheri (Stevens); her siblings, Dorothy, Marge and George; her sons, Thom and Dave; her great grandchild Lucy Rae; and her daughter-in-law Paula.

She is survived by : her children, Don (Joanie), Jim, Carol (Mark) and Dan (Vicky Wiita-Templer).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Sebastian Catholic Church (210 E Iron St, Bessemer, MI 49911). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Donations in her name can be made to the Gogebic County ARC and sent to the same address.
