He is survived by: his wife Doris Higley; his children, Karen O'Brien (Tim) of Grand Rapids, Michael Kaskinen (Lisa) of Beulah and Steven Kaskinen (Jill) of Somerset Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Molly, Meridith, Joshua (Annie), Adam (Isabelle), Joel, Aaron (Ashlee) and Zane; his great grandchildren, Harvey and Winona; his sister-in-law Kathryn Welch of Barnesville; John "Jack" Welch (Barb) of Brethren. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
