She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Earl and Marie Settles (Steinberg); and her siblings, Joann Kittendorf, Mary Grimm, Carolyn Johnson, Jeanette Mix, Winifred Keillor, Charles, Doug, Kenneth, Ray, Undine and Merle Settles.
She is survived by: her significant other William "Bill" Schnarr; her children, Barbara Giatti (Enrico) of Bondeno, Italy and William Schnarr (Vernalee) of Silverdale, WA; her grandchildren, Liv, Kaitlyn, William and Nathan; her brother Bill Settles (Donna); and her friend Jill. She is also survived by one of 13 siblings and had countless nieces and nephews.
