He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Gregory and Amelia Hilma O'Neill (Johnson); his wife Margaret Riopelle; his son-in-law Bob McKindles; his brother-in-law Werner Peterson; and his brothers, Donald O'Neill (Joyce) and Alwin O'Neill (Verna).
He is survived by: his children, Paul O'Neill (Nancy), Michael O'Neill (Christine), Bob O'Neill (Lisa) and Kathy McKindles; his grandchildren, Matthew O'Neill, Tiffany O'Neill, Brian O'Neill and Elizabeth Boliard (Nicholas); his children, Cassaundra Strolle (Jon), Katy O'Neill, Sean McKindles and Megan McKindles; and his siblings, Austin "Ozzie" O'Neill (Janet) and Patricia Peterson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
