He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Hyder; his parents, Donald Edward and Bonnie Jean Hyder; his in-laws, Theo and Margie Burden; and his siblings-in-law, Rebecca Russeau and David Burden.
He is survived by: his children, Kristi Hyder and Ken Hyder; his siblings, Marv Hyder (Karen) and Dale Hyder (Bonnie); his nieces, Kathryn Skinner and Carly Stokes (Josh); his nephew Brock Hyder (Katrina); and his friends, Larry Bell and Karen Gorby.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Daggett Gilbert Funeral Homes (13985 Northland Dr, Big Rapids, MI 49307). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 2:15 PM at the Stanwood Cemetery (18000-18208 Pierce Rd, Stanwood, MI 49346).
